Tahini Garlic Sauce

Good morning everyone,

We use a tahini garlic sauce in our fuul, which we are making for our breakfast this morning.  The sauce goes great in a lot of middle eastern dishes, is so easy to make, and so full of flavour.  Use it in fuul, falafel, over swarma, as a dipping sauce for vegetables… mmmm, and I’ve arrived in my happy place…

Tahini Garlic Sauce

3 cloves garlic, chopped roughly
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup tahini, stirred really well (you can get this in Asian and Middle Eastern specialty shops)
Juice of two lemons
1/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and puree on high for 2 minutes.  The sauce will thicken when standing.

It will last in the refrigerator for up to a week.
