Banana Chocolate Fudgsicles

Good morning everyone,

Vegetarian fudgsicles!  You can make them vegan by swapping out honey for agave syrup or other sweetener to your taste.  No gelatin here, which is an unfortunate ingredient in a lot of frozen treats – well treats generally.  What’s with all the gelatin people?  Do you have any idea where that comes from?

It’s been hot in Toronto lately and this treat, while being vegetarian is also lower in sugar than most frozen treats though you wouldn’t really know it.  They are smooth and silky as well, beating out the fudgsicles that I enjoyed in my childhood, for sure.

Banana Chocolate Fudgsicles

2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup canned full-fat coconut milk
2 frozen bananas
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons honey

Puree all ingredients in a blender.  Pour into popsicle molds and freeze.  Enjoy!

Easy peasy!
